I am an experienced and qualified BACP counsellor and supervisor providing supervision to both trainee and qualified counsellors who are working with clients of all ages. Supervision mirrors my own practice, which is primarily Person Centred, and I combine my training and experience of CBT, creative ways of working and a wide range of theories where appropriate.
In addition to supervising counsellors in private practice, I also supervise several school counsellors and groups of pastoral and safeguarding teams and my years in the role of school counsellor adds a greater understanding to those working in this setting.
Supervision is vital, as we know as counsellors, and throughout sessions my hope is that you will feel supported, gain new insights and perspectives and leave with a clearer view of how to work with your clients, along with an awareness of any of your development and self care needs. I hope to build a relationship in supervision where you feel safe to freely explore both difficult areas we can unravel together as well as celebrating the successes!
Finding the right supervisor is important as the relationship is often a long term one where trust is key, so I offer a free hour’s session where you can tell me about your training, experience, client work and hopes for supervision and an opportunity for me to answer your questions.
My fee is £75/hour and £105/1.5 hours for qualified counsellors and groups, and £60/hour for counsellors in training.
